Zcash Rainbow Chart

The Zcash Rainbow Chart, Explained

The rainbow chart is a logarithmic regression over Zcash's full daily price history. We fit log10(price) against the natural log of days since the genesis block (October 28, 2016), excluding roughly the first 400 days of coin age, when a tiny circulating supply pushed single coins above $3,000. Nine bands are spaced equally in log10 around that fit, and everything is projected three years forward.

The construction was reviewed by a panel of independent AI models which converged unanimously on this exact approach: log-log fit, launch anomaly excluded, nine bands, equal log spacing. Today the fit gives a fair-value line of about $720 against a market price of $1190.12.

Bands are a lens on long-run trajectory, not a trading signal. The regression is redrawn as new data arrives, so a band touched today can move tomorrow.
